Which do you prefer?

I like nVIDIA as ATi have very poor Linux compatibility.

ATi have been bought by AMD, so their future is uncertain. On a positive note though, this shold mean that AMD motherboards could have better onboard graphics.

ATi X19x0 series cards are the only cards currently able to have anti-aliasing and HDR rendering enabled at the same time.

I prefer nVidia, and will be getting one of their DirectX 10 cards soon after release Cheesy

It's weird really because you always think ATi would suit Intel's image more, and nVIDIA AMD's.

I've always been with nVIDIA, and I'm not sure if I would change nVIDIA for an ati.

Even if someone asks my opinion about a graphic card, I always suggest nVIDIA.

I'm not enough of a tech-hound to have a preference. I have an ATI 256MB in my machine at the moment, and it works quite well for my dual monitors.

As long as it works gives me decent performance, then my preference ends there.

I'm similarly set.  Dual moniters with an ATI X1700.  Works well enough for me.  But then, after having an X1300 for a while, there's a lot of things that work well for me.

I'm on a faulty nVidia 6600GT, and I don't intend to change until the DX10 cards are released, or this one dies.
